Chita gets connected as a Siberian hub to China

Four times weekly service from Moscow-Chita-Moscow started on 27 October.

SU1760 leaves Moscow at 22:25 from Sheremetyevo airport Terminal D arriving to Chita at 10:30 (local time). Return SU1761 flight leaves Chita at 11:55 and lands in Moscow at 12:45 (local time). The flights are being operated by Airbus A-320 and Boeing737-800NG aircraft, with business class and economy cabin available.

Aeroflot stress Chita is a major industrial and cultural centre in Eastern Siberia, and a transport and communication hub for Transbaikal region. 

'The geographical position of the city offers the shortest transport link between western regions of Russia, Eastern and Western Europe with China and the countries of Southeast Asia,' it was reported. 'The company's route network expansion and continuous improvement of service quality is the key to successful implementation of Aeroflot's strategy to become a world-class airline with a global network'.

hum.... what a nice looking picture.. never thought I would like to visit Chita and frankly never heard of it, but the image is quite appealing...
