Siberian airline NordStar has began twice weekly round trip flights from Krasnoyarsk to Dubai.

Krasnoyarsk Terminal 2, serving international flights

Boeing 737-800 aircraft are flying the route twice a week, the only carrier to do so.

The new service to the United Arab Emirates follows NordStar Airlines starting a weekly round trip flights from Krasnoyarsk to Beijing, a route also operated by S7.

NordStar is the biggest airline of Krasnoyarsk region, replacing KrasAir.

The flights are the latest in a major trend in Siberia: establishing direct flight connections to leading international destinations.
