Victoria's Siberian Secret tells of her thrill at being part of brand's 2015 show

The model has her own blog called From Russia With Love, which unmasks the secret life of the American fashion world and gives advice to those readers who may also want to be on the front covers and striding the catwalks.

She explains: 'I am Vita Sidorkina, a Russian model who came to New York in 2013 with a ton of ambition and a huge dream: To live and build a career in this bright and unpredictable city. 

'So what has this crazy plan turned into? You're going to find out on the pages of From Russia with Love! Here, I will share my world with you, take you behind the scenes on my journeys, tell you my experiences and even my secrets.'

She tells how she was born and raised in Khabarovsk, on the eastern fringe of Siberia close to the Russian-Chinese border, 'that is still dear to my heart. 

'I must admit I always knew I would not stay in Khabarovsk, not because I don't love my city, but because I am a cosmopolitan - I can live and work anywhere and won't let anything limit me, especially geographic boundaries.' 

She writes about her work with Victoria's Secret, describing a typical day, and adds: 'VS shooting never stops, so people working there consider their job like a 9-5 in an office. And they don't always understand the butterflies in my stomach - every time I realise that I'm working for such a famous brand!' 

With the start of The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2015 she posted on Facebook: The DAY is finally here!
